Just bought a used 2007 Forester X with 54,000 (highway) miles...car is well maintained mechanically and physically. Is this considered too may miles? Just curious as to what other owners think.....thanks.

Too many miles for what??

Change all of the fluids including the coolant with the genuine Subaru stuff and add the Conditioner (very important)

Answer.."no".

Thanks for the reply...I understand 12,000 miles a year is average driving, and since this vehicle has about 18,000 miles a year average driving on it I was just curious as to whether this seems excessive for it's age. I also understand that just because a vehicle has high mileage doesn't mean it is going to start faling apart. I think I picked up a great Forester, that has been well maintained....I was just curious about reliability, because this is my first non-american car.
