There is a local listing for a "2.5i" short block from an impreza. Anyone know if I can use this in my '00 forester (with my heads, manifold, etc)?

What the heck is a "2.5i" anyway?

WILL NOT WORK with your heads.

The engines with I-AVLS used a slightly domed style piston.
