Hi,

towing a 1500lb pop up with my 2006 forester x. Have trailer brakes installed. i currently have Nokia hakapelita r2 winter tires that I keep on all year as I have no storage and live in Colorado. I’ll be taking this pop up on some dirt roads to dispersed camping sites nothing crazy but won’t always be on pavement. Do i need different tires like all seasons? Or can I leave on my winter tires ?
Any input appreciated

Hi @Bfrank76 and welcome to the forums...

How's the tread depth on the Nokians? If plenty healthy, then I wouldn't worry about it too much. They'll give you more grip than normal All seasons would anyways.

Don't forget your air compressor in case you have to air down for any old reason...

Worse case you forget, bring along a bicycle pump and imitate this guy.... :geek:

Have a fun weekend...

Btw, how far and what region are you going? As I am stuck in Suburbia Hell.... :censored:

If you get in a pinch @Discount Tire can help you out if you need a 5th opinion... They have a pretty good spread throughout CO..

Safe travels...
