Hey guys! I have a 2006 Subaru Forester which was down for a about a year. I recently got it back up and the remote isn’t unlocking or locking the vehicle. I changed the battery of the remote and still nothing. Any advice?

Did you try reprogramming? The car could have forgotten the connection during its down time.

Hey man thanks for the response! I saw a couple videos on reprogramming but it needs the code of the key and I have no idea where that is

Check out cars101.com for details. Earlier models (certainly my previous 2003, and possibly your 2006) didn't need a code.
