Andy, this is awesome. AFAIK, this is uncharted territory as far as 4eat mods. Does the VTD diff change the torque split or is it static? Are you able to bring on power induced oversteer?

Did I just smoke crack or does that say a 1.657 sec 60 foot time and 3.323 second 0-60? Is this for real? With an auto box?

That 0-60 time is absolutely insane. Where did you get your torque converter from and what is the stall speed? Just out of curiosity, what will your car do for 0-60 from a roll?

I'm sorry but i'm still a little confused here... Does this job require the center diff out of a 4EAT wrx? Or does it require the center diff out of a 5spd FXT? Or am i totally wrong here?
The vtd center diff is in the 2007 or 2008 Forester Sports models, and the WRX limited with automatic transmission.

So if I go junkyard diving for a VTD center diff... is the general concensus that any 4EAT VTD diff will fit?
Only the 2007 - 2008 Forester XT VTD diffs are confirmed to work

Also, anybody have any problems after conversion, other than the nagging AWD light?
AFAIK, a6n6d6y is the only person on the forum to do the conversion.

whats up with the FWD fuse in? does it disengage something like in my current stock 4EAT? or just keep the nagging AWD light away?
In the MPT transmission the signal that controls the MPT engaging the rear drive is interrupted by inserting the fuse. In the VTD transmission, that signal is used to control the clutch pack that changes the power distribution from 45/55 to 50/50. So with the fuse in, the torque distribution is entirely based on the gear configuration, and not the clutch pack, giving you a constant rear bias.

At least this is my simplistic understanding of it. If someone knows more about how this works, feel free to chime in.
