I recently purchased a 2005 Subaru Forester XT 2.5 November 18th 2019. not too long ago my car has been overheating even though I have oil and I had enough antifreeze I don't know why it's causing this problem. I didn't take a circle area is where the smoke was coming from.

Is it smoke or steam? Can you smell coolant? Carefully check the seam on the top tank of the radiator for seeping. Check the radiator hose for any splits.

Check the thermostat and get a coolant pressure test done. Replace the radiator cap if it’s old. Maybe a coolant flush with fresh Subaru coolant. These are inexpensive steps.
check the radiator fans too.
