Hi all, yesterday I changed both alternator and a/c belts on my 2005, 2.0x forester. Whilst changing a/c belt the tensioner pulley thread broke... So I had to tension it manually until replacement part arrives (holding relatevely tight).

All seems fine. However, engine seems to idle rather low, usually it would be around 1250-1000rpm and now it is around 750-600rpm.

I noticed on my way back from work that upon cold start engine idles at normal previous rate (~1000rpm), but as engine warms up rpm's drop again. Engine is running smooth and is not struggling.

Any ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated as it is driving me crazy!
