Hello, it seems pretty straightforward, I just want to nix the heavy CD mechanism to keep the [priceless] Weatherband radio feature along with my aftermarket JVC in my 2001 , since I have room for two radios. It's just straight forward old school Japanese ISO-DIN mounting.
I carefully removed the ribbon data cable from the PCB board....that connects to the CD chassis that should be all that's necessary, right??? This should not affect the radio tuner function should it???
Thanks for any help guys.
