Hey,
Here is my situation. I have a basically new set of 17" rims and tires from my old legacy GT that I want to put on my 2004 NA Forester. The tires are too low profile (225/45/17) so I am going to have to lower it to make things look right. I have been doing a lot of reading and searching, so I think I have kind of figured out how I want to go about lowering it. My goal is close the gap yet maintain a comfortable ride and possibly obtain a little better handling.
I have been able to source:
2004 + wrx struts and stock springs (under $200)
2002 wrx sedan sway bars 20mm front and 17mm rear ($30 each)
I am on a tight budget so I have to be smart with my purchases. Will the 02 sway bars fit on an 04? Is the front sway bar worth the $30? If not, I will track down an STI one with the endlinks. Any feedback would be great! Thanks.
