Problem
Recently I developed an issue with my car locking into 1st gear. The car will cycle to P , N , R and D but will not upshift past 1st.

Background:
225k miles
50 k on engine rebuild
30 k on transmission rebuild due to age and torque bind solenoid issues.
Can't get a great read on the fluid level but it seems alright.
about time to get a trans fluid change.

Location
Boulder CO

Codes :
P0743 (duty solenoid B, torque converter clutch electrical)
P0768 (shift Solenoid D electrical)
P0700 ( the trannys fu*ked up)

My thoughts:

Iv had one code come and go with cold weather over the past year and I'm guessing it was P0743, as I didn't until recently have the means to read the TCU codes. It did not affect driving.
I believe the P0768 is why im locked into first gear in a sort of limp mode.

Plan of attack:

Drop the pan and replace the faulty solenoids.

Questions for you:
1. does anyone know where I can find some used solenoids for these transmissions. I believe its the phase 2 version 2 that they put in the 04 FXT. Iv managed to find used ones for the no turbo forester but not for my 04 FXT.

2. am I right to think its the phase 2 version 2? does anyone have any images of the valve body or part numbers for the solenoids?

3. Advice for testing before I drop the pan and pull the valve body?

I have factory manuals. PM me if you want to see something specific.
