Hi, new here;

For starters, I am sorry if this has already been discussed, I am new to forums and need to figure this issue out relatively quickly.

I just purchased a 2004 Forester XT MT with a 2.0L Turbo swap. It has an AP v3 on it. It has a custom map on it done by a tuner that already has the TGV codes removed from the delete. The only problem I have when running this tune is that it throws an Extreme Lean code. I am trying to get the car to pass emissions, but will not with the CEL. I am not sure what my options are now that the AP software is not available for private-party use.

I am trying to get it to pass here in Georgia with what I have already. I really am trying to avoid reinstalling the TGV or getting a standalone/different turner.

Thanks for y'alls help!

I would first try to discover the cause of the lean code. This could be a strong indicator of a pre-turbo intake leak of some sort thats causing the trims to spike hard in the positive ranges. In a lot of cases, this can be caused by a slipped coupler between inlet and turbo, a vent/PVC return line that has fallen off the inlet, or even a crack / tear on the inlet itself. I would have these things verified and corrected first if they are the issue before moving on to more complex solutions.
