Hey! After some consideration I have decided to buy a 2nd gen forester as a new family car. Foresters in my price range are either plain X with 90 or so kW but I m more interested in 2.0 XT with 130kW. Problem is I haven't found many reviews about this particular engine - all turbo reviews are for 2.5xt with significantly more power. So, does anyone have experience of this 2 liter turbo model? I m not looking for road rocket, but I would like a nice meaty engine for safe overtakes etc. will this version cut it and is it more prone to problems?

Hi,

I'm not sure, as I'm fairly new here, but it seems most people here are North Americans who only have access to the 2.5 XT in their Foresters. Maybe a UK board would work out better for your question, as maybe they had the 2.0 turbo there?
