I read the forums already, I tried the mod and I’m still having the problem of my fogs shutting off when I turn on my high beams, I cut the Y/B wire and spliced it into the orange wire, I even cut one of the wires on the fog switch and grounding it, and still no luck. I’ve messaged a couple of the guys on the posts but I think they might no longer visit the page.

I had to look at like 10 different posts and several different videos. I got to the point where they would run independently but now my DRL won’t go off under any conditions other than the car being completely off. Ughhhhh

Did you disconnect the DRL module on the strut tower on Passengers side?

Is there any way you could snap a pic of the location? I looked where I saw it in a video but mine wasn’t in that location.

Easiest approach is to simply bypass all the existing circuitry. Too many built-in complications there.

Key-on circuit - switch - relay coil - ground

Battery - fuse - relay contacts - lights - ground
