On My 2001 Forrester, I Neff the driver's rear wheel hub spindle ONLY replaced. Is this possible? I Don't Want to mess with the bearings

Can anyone help?

@Jillrat The 2001 still has the bearing and hub as separate assemblies, I think. Those are a major pia around here because of rust issues.

The bearing's race is pretty much pressed onto the spindle so you kinda have to mess with the bearing. You can't really get that race off without damaging it.
Also, there'a very long bolt you have to take off that will often require violence, patience, cursing and drinking - that's from what I remember; like I said there was drinking and blind rage involved.
It wasn't my favorite job.
