2001 forester key transponder
can some body help me with a problem I have with immobilizer.after changing clutch ,battery disconnected for few days,car started for a moment then stopped,it cranks over but fails to start

If it was the transponder key, it would be flashing up on the dash. Have you checked for spark?
I would pull out the leads to check, just to rule the immobiliser out. The key transponder cuts the fuel, so you wouldn't hear the pump prime if it was that.
