Newbie here, hello. I have a 2000 forester stb and l want to ask if there is a way to flash it using opensource software. All forums that l have got any info from are over 10 years old.

Some early foresters can be tuned and some can't. You would need the ECU number before I could tell you for sure. If you can't get that the only other way is to get a tactrix cable and try and download the rom with ECU flash and see if it works.

@defury Found a company Project Lambda tuning, they have software that works.
