My subi just turned 20 and as a present for its faithful 2 decades of service I had the original shocks replaced. Yes original shocks.

But now the handbrake light is always on.

I have been told it will probably be the ABS sensor cable - or cables.

How do I check cables?

@Christo2000 just to make sure, it's the "parking brake light" that is lit. Correct?

Looking at the snippet below from the combination meter wiring diagram, the parking brake light is lit by the "parking brake switch" or "brake fluid level switch". I don't see a connection to the ABS circuit?
