Hello, I just want to pass along a great find. I had to do my timing belt today among many other things and a friend sent me a link to a youtube video where they hoist the engine and do the timing belt and timing. I had the haynes book and found it to be ok but the video made it very clear for me. One other thing that I can pass along that FXTINTX told me was to replace the accessory tensioner pulley and he was right the bearing was shot. Since I haven't posted 15 times or more I can't include it but, go to youtube and type 2.5l subaru forester timing belt and look for the video that is done by briansmobile1

Have a good night
