As per title, do the last two pieces of the exhaust (back box and rear resonated pipe) have the same total length between a 2.5 XT and a 2004-2007 Impreza STi?

AFAIK I believe they do as the both use a 4-piece exhaust system but would need an expert's confirmation.

I would say Yes but isn't the XT's Backbox/tailpipe a little longer?

I have a Newage JDM Impreza STI fitment catback on mine

The XT tip is slightly longer to clear the rear bumper - not an issue for me though

However the ISTI exhaust will sit slightly lower than the XT's factory catback - no trouble everyday driving but one time, fully loaded on the way to the tip, it did just kiss a speed bump (I'm on standard height suspension with non SLS rear suspension and 215/55/16 tyres)
