Dealer has performed 2 ATF replacements in the past. Reading here made it sound easy so I did it. Draining was very simple, re-fiiling was slow but easy but reading the dipstick is impossible. I drained 5.2 qts and put in 5 (all I currently possessed). Cold or hot, the dipstick reads well over the hot-full mark. Any tricks to reading it or did the dealer overfill it at the last change? The car shifts fine.

You have to check it with the car running after rowing it through the gears.

Yes to both replies. Cold after sitting overnight and hot with engine running after going through the gears. I followed the manual's instructions.
