So I had to replace my battery and terminals and it's doing that alarm thing where the flashers won't shut off. I don't have the fob anymore which I used to use to reset it. I read about the method to disconnect the ground then turn the keys to ON and reconnect it, but that didn't work. I read another method about the secret button under the dash, but the button is broken and won't work. Even went as far as to take the button off and try and connect the wires together for the 15 seconds they said, but that didn't work either. Is there something I missed with the ground wire method? Is there any other methods I can do?

('98-'00) - 1998 - Parking lights flashing...

The parking lights flash in a manner similar to the hazard lights after I changed the battery on a 1998 Forester L. They will not stop, key in/key out, ign on/ign off, lights on/lights off, doesn't matter. The vehicle does not have a remote key. I read that there is a reset switch somewhere...
