A/C in my 1997 worked fine until last year. "freon" was low so I added R134a, watching both gauges. High side indicates overcharged. Low side indicates undercharged. After sitting for a long time, it will start to cool until the compressor belt starts slipping in a few minutes. Pressures do not equalize when off for a couple hours and the belt squeals as soon as it is turned on.

Something is plugged. How do I determine what?
