I traded my '16 Legacy to get a '19 Forester Touring. I have only had it a week, but can safely say that the '19 is a much better vehicle than the '16. I usually keep cars over a decade, but due to a relative having difficulty with the low platform height of the Legacy I made the change
I was somewhat skeptical of the switch, but have been very pleased. The new vehicle handles well, and has better acceleration than the Legacy. In addition, the voice NAV actually works. In the entire time we had the Legacy voice commands were never accepted by the car and numerous dealer trips and/or updates were of no value. Plus, once you get past the initial learning curve on the electronic display settings it actually makes sense
The only question I have about the new vehicle is the tires. It came with Nokia tires which is a brand I know nothing about. The OEM tires on the Legacy were Goodyears and were terrible in the snow and had poor handling due to soft sidewalls. There is little info on the web about the Nokias so I will give them a chance
