What size tire do you put on to get anywhere near stock?

It seems like the sidewalls are still too high to get close....


any recommendations and/or pics???

The closest but limited in brands: 215/55/17
The one that makes most of the speedometers read correctly (not under): 225/55/17
The one that most on this board seem to have: 225/50/17

There are, of course, the wider options mentioned above.

I personally am running 225/55/17. I like a more compliant ride and didn't like the choice of tires in 215/55.

Actually, our speedometers are off by 3.X% from the factory and w/ me running 235/55/17 tires my speedo is dead on now, accurate that is.

Hmm.. Interesting. I don't think I can run 235 size tires because of my impreza wheels that I use. Offset is wrong. =(

This is my other option—wheels off an 06 X Premium.

Both are 16 inch.
