Hi does anyone know where the hose is on a 2015 Forester cvt 2.5i to clean the ac from musty smells using the Subaru climate control cleaning kit? I see a hose way down on the passenger side where access looks from underneath. Thanks

Thank you. I just wanted to be 100% sure before I spray a foaming cleaner into a hose. On the 03 Forester, it's half way down the firewall on the passenger side. On the 15 Forester, it appears to be further down, closer to the exhaust system. I'll run the A/c to see If I can get water to drip out. I'll also take some pics, since I couldn't find any images or diagrams for this evap tube on 2015 Foresters. Thanks again 2.5x.

Reviving my old thread. One other question.
on the older Foresters, to do the cleaning, you have to disconnect the ac wire clip. On my 2015, it looks like a larger wire harness. Is this the same, to disconnect the ac compressor?

The idea is to prevent the compressor from coming on. Which wire disconnects the ac comp on newer Foresters? To do the cleaning foam thing?
