i got an 09 forester xt , recently i noticed a weird bearing noise coming from the car after braking on a high speed , sound like a bearing is slowing down, not sure what might cost any one have any idea???

Is the noise from the engine or wheels?

Can you hear the noise when parked and revving the engine?

no i dont hear the noise when revving the engine . only after pressed on the brake and is not like every time that's why is hard to see what's the problem

Have you checked your brake pads? Could be metal on metal noise...

@smiffy6four yea the brake is a new kit.. installed less then 3k ago.. checked they are fine.. the noise is sound btw the transmission / engine but those is hard to check. i worry it might be the transmission
