So I know this most likely has been talked about but I couldn't find a clear explanation.

I currently have a 2004 Forester XS with 2004 WRX Sedan struts and springs with 1/2 spacers in the rear.

I would like to lower it just a tad more. Ive read about how the only STI struts that work are the 04 STI struts but will the 05+ springs fit the normal WRX struts?

Also whats the difference between a WRX spring and a STI spring drop and spring rate wise?

Thanks,
Andrew B.

I have Wrx struts and 05 sti springs, so you are good to go up to 07 sti springs

Wrx spring rate 163 Front, 129(AT)/119(MT) Rear
STI spring rate 224 Front, 195 Rear.

Those rates are for like 05 not sure if it changed through the years

STi is approx 10mm (lil more than 3/8 in) lower than the WRX
