So it seems as though I need to replace one of these two rubber hoses (D & E). It looks like E is leaking a few drops a day, but I may as well replace both at the same time. My question is with the removal of these hoses, am I going to have to worry about getting air into this part of the transmission? And if I'm not to worry, should I not even bother taking off the ATF drain plug since it's draining from these hoses?

I'll probably replace the filter since I don't know the history on it, and I'll make sure to measure how much came out so I know where to start when refilling.
