I bought this car bone stock March, 2016. Shortly after the turbo gave out, so the only logical solution was upgrading to a VF39, STI intercooler, STI up pipe, 3" Invidia down pipe, and 3" exhaust. I just kept going after that...
2005 Subaru Forester (Maroon 5)
VF39 turbo, STI Intercooler, STI up pipe, Invidia down pipe, 3" exhaust (it was actually purchased form my 99 RS years ago and sitting in the garage, I had it laying around so I used it. I plan to switch to a COBB exhaust), COBB lightened crank pulley, COBB intake, COBB 1.3 bar radiator cap, COBB Tuning access port tuned for Stage 3 Forester (generic map, should be getting it dyno tuned very soon).
2007 WRX seats with butt heaters transferred from 2005 Forester XT seats, STI floor mats, COBB short throw shifter w/ front and rear transmission bushings, Subaru 6 star vinyl overaly on steering wheel, STI shift knob, STI pedals, Subtle Solutions dead pedal, center dash painter black, vinyl overlays for steering wheel
De-badged, black STI badge, 20% tint, 06-07 Forester Sport tail lights, yellow tint over fog lights, removed amber plastic from the headlights and vinyl "F" overlay front badge. My next plan is to learn how to paint and install JDM mud flaps, JDM STI rear bumper, and JDM under body lip.

Wheel and Tire
Enkei EKM3 wheels and garbage tires. I plan to switch to 04 STI BBS wheels. Getting new tires net week. TBD
