History
Just love my Foz, almost 7 years later... (bought 2014 in 2013)
I started my Foz journey and have added and upgraded over the years... Mods vary from "vanity" add-ons (like shiny trim on the foglights, the rear reflectors, etc) to useful (off-road lights, skit plates, dark tint windows) to logical (roof top basket, cargo covers, and more).

With the loveliness of COVID19 and the "socially distant" requirements, I've loaded up my mom and our 4 dogs into the Foz, packed some water and snacks and take a Saturday to go explore the nature around me.

Thanks for sharing. Great pics! Looks like you had a great time. Good looking ride. I've got a 2017 Premium equipped very much like yours right down to the Conti's, which I really like. Question: I've got oem aero crossbars and have been considering a roof basket for our next adventure (whenever things open up, that is). How much wind noise do you get with it, and how bad is the mpg hit?

Thanks! Subehru does the job (and then some)... I have a ton of fun for sure...

It's a little louder but not horrible... With the sunroof closed, it's just a bit more wind noise... maybe turn the radio up 1 or 2 points?

As for the MPG - I do most of my driving around town with only a few high-speed freeway runs. I'd say maybe a 2 or 3 MPG loss? But then I've also got the AT tires which gave the MPG a bit of a hit, too....

You could get one of the "coffin" boxes to put up there and probably get better MPG, but less storage space...

I did use the basket for a recent holiday parade and had a big teddy bear up there, with lights and garland set up as "reins" for the bear to "drive" the Foz Sled.... Plus a place for my bluetooth boombox to blast music...

Love the Bear with the Boombox! Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the info on the roof basket. Installing Primitive Racing under armor next week, waiting for the shipment from Oregon. After that I'll think about a roof basket. Not sure if I need it yet.
