Got the Foz from a local dealer here and I was not impressed with the stock look or the feel …. I mean the feeling of driving a grocery getter and a hippie ride kind of got in my nerves … but I also seen the inner asthetics of this car from the get go .. I did a lot of research before I started my build , many mistakes were made and money blown .. I was learning…. This was a fun first build for me and now see below for datils
My first build as a beginner builder , Sparco wheels, Pirelli Centurato tyres, NRG lugs , PowerStop oversized rotors and calipers , Rally Armor mud flaps , OLM rear smoke lights , Perrin license plate front delete , Perrin front tow hook , AEM cold air intake , Corbeau Forza bucket seats, NRG quick release steering wheel , NRG steering wheel lock , NRG steering wheel hanger , Magnaflow dual axle back exhaust , Sparco rear tow hook , ISC Coilovers with 2015 WRX upper control arms . Whiteline racing rear sway bar and up front Megan Racing sway bar with Torque Solution end links . STI front tower strut bracket mount ….. Sony deck , Alpine 600 watt amp , 2 alpine 6x9 front door speakers up front pass and driver side , 2 Kicker Comp subs at rear in trunk , 20% tint and sunshade courtesy of prestige auto detailing …. And to top it off with It Air Spencer Eikosha Squash scents throughout the vehicle ..
overall after notes .After all it’s a CVT non turbo and I fully understood what I was getting into , I wanted shock value to a grocery getter , a sleeper , a looker and to prove that you can add handling performance to a CVT and also attract many onlookers …. Purist’s hate me for this angle I took … but It’s a nice stiff controllable fun ride, a low baritone sound from the magnaflow system at the rear exposing the boxer sound . The braking is almost hands down flawless from the PowerStop system , it no longer leans to the right or wants to nose dive like the stock system which was previously in use … the stereo setup is also fun and makes the ride more enjoyable with banging booming tunes .
