History
My wife has a Subaru Outback and she loves it. I thought I needed the Legacy to replace the aging Toyota Camry, but really wanted the WRX. Found the Legacy to drive much like the Camry (snooze-fest) so that was off the list. Wife did not like the WRX citing noise, ride stiffness, and "that obnoxious hood scoop". The Answer? The Forester XT! Close enough to WRX performance to fix my itch plus it's quite, comfortable, sans hood scoop, and supports my outdoor activities.
