I Bought it from small little dealership not too far from where I live, after what felt like the greatest test drive ever! It is a 1999 Subaru Forester L, 5 speed manual transmission with 150,xxx and 232,xxx (when i bought it) miles on the motor. It was a great drive for about a month... then it spun a rod bearing! So sadly, I had to put it in the garage and begin the rebuild. :/ It sat in my garage for about six months! Mostly from me having to save up money and also investing in a swap that didn't work out as planned. So after losing money on the motor deal that didn't quite work out, I had to settle with just rebuilding stock parts(mostly). So after a grinding and polishing the crankshaft, cleaning the block and cylinder heads, new rod bearings, seals, oil pump, water pump, numerous other things I can't quite remember, and 7, 200 miles later, she runs beautiful! Upgrades and swap are definitely coming! (sooner or later)
