I first got this car in 2013 for free from a family friend who were pulling their speed boat when ol foz got too hot and put a connecting rod through the case. I got a good used motor from a company out of Seattle Washington who imports motors from Japan. Stuck that in but I guess when I pulled the old motor out I got the torque converter shaft pulled and turned. So, not knowing that I did that put the motor in started it up and wrecked the trans pump. That was cool cuz I got to spend a bunch of money getting that re-built. Anyhow, the rebuild didn't last very long as the car stopped wanting to go anywhere. The car was sitting in my garage for a year when I decided to do a manual swap, coilovers, wheels and scoop. Now its getting to look like a real Subaru.
