History
Not much to say here. I purchased the car from a guy who loaned it to a friend over 3 years ago. The friend returned it broken and non-running. The toothed idler lost its bearings. The guy took it to a mechanic who ONLY replaced the bad idler and got the cam timing all wrong. When the mechanic could not get the car to run, he found a running 2006 Impreza EJ25 engine with a clutch pack still attached. He was sure he had destroyed the engine. I gave it a shot and for 1,100.00 I bought the car and engine. After getting it home, I reset the timing in hopes nothing was damaged. With fingers crossed, I turned the key and was rewarded with a smooth running engine!
