How hard was it to install the android 9"? I just bought a 2009 X, and would like to start down the same path of sprucing it up. Thanks - nice work you';ve done. -David.

Very easy actually, just make sure you have the right one with the current harness, if not then you’ll have have to do a lot of splicing. I’ll drop the name you can look it up on eBay “9" Quad-core Head Unit Car GPS BT Android Radio Stereo For 08-12 Subaru Forester“
It was pretty cheap and it works really well

She looks great - I know this post is from awhile back but Just interested in what sort of power gains you're enjoying compared to when she was stock? I'm chasing some extra kw's and the hardware you've added is 99% match to what I've been collecting for mods to install.

So from factory 224 hp or 167 kw’s to the crank but with power train loss your probably looking at 190 hp or 141 kw’s to the wheels roughly but after the mods and the tune I was making 236hp/ 175kw’s to the wheels, so a pretty good gain even though i have stock turbo and stock fuel system.
