  1. Subaru Maintenance Schedule (US)

    Problems, Maintenance, and Warranty
I'm not sure who hates Mobile1. That is the sole oil I have used in my Impreza, SG, both SH's, and now my M5 during winter. There might have been somebody with a hard-on against it, but I haven't heard that ever. As for oil and filters, use Subaru filters and crush washers, and whichever...
  2. Subaru Maintenance Schedule (US)

    Problems, Maintenance, and Warranty
Looking at the schedule for the 2010, it just stops at 132,000 miles. Does anybody know where to find an extended maintenance schedule? Thanks
  3. ('09-'13) Buzzing/vibrating sound near drivers side dash

    Interior and Electronics
I'm having the same problem. Mine come whether I am driving or not. It's been going on for about 2 years now and it's part of why am selling it. Mine seems to come from more behind the dash though. Has anybody figured this out?
  4. ('09-'13) SH: Wheel fit on modified suspension

    Wheels and Tires
Added. Have you done the wheels on both suspensions?
  5. ('09-'13) SH specific Pedders lowering springs

    Suspension and Handling
That looks awesome. Can you get a closer wheel gap picture? Can you add the wheel size to the fit thread too?

  7. ('09-'13) Lowering SH Forester options

    Suspension and Handling
From what I've dug up, 09-13 like I noted above. If you want to go Impreza level, 09-13 WRX struts fit. They also have, iirc, better valving and spring rates for performance.

  11. ('09-'13) SH: Wheel fit on modified suspension

    Wheels and Tires
As a continuation of the sticky in the suspension forum, Lowering SH Forester options, let's discuss wheel fit. For most of us, lowering go hand-in-hand with wheels. Given pretty much everything around is for SG's at this point, let's get this together. Below is a link to a Google Doc in which...

STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION....MY HEAD STARTED TO HURT! Preface: Original poster was "stoney98", he/she started this thread, to help us all. I (FXTerrific) have since updated this OP, to include additional setups, as well as update some info in general, based on findings from members, since the...
  15. ('09-'13) SH on Imprezas struts w/ spacers

    Suspension and Handling
That looks awesome. So I get my ride heights straight, the STI sits 1" lower than the WRX, correct?
  16. ('09-'13) SH on Imprezas struts w/ spacers

    Suspension and Handling
Does anybody have pictures of an SH on Impreza/WRX struts with the Subtle spacers? The WRX struts alone are too low for me, but I can't gauge what spacers to get. If anybody has pictures, that would be much appreciated. Thanks.
  17. ('09-'13) Stoney's 2010 FXT

    Members' Journals
Build thread round 2. I recently sold my Stage 3 2004 FXTI to another member to get something a bit more civilized for the Wifey and baby. As fun as that was, the suspension was rough and it was loud. Not exactly family friendly. We looked in options from an A4 Avant to a 2014 Outback 3.6...
  18. Impreza Struts on SG Foresters - All you need to know

    Suspension and Handling
Sketchy yes, but look in the background. The wheels are under the body. Safety first!

I can't believe that you are winter-wheeling the unicorn wheels. That's blasphemy!
  20. ('03-'05) 07 WRX sti suspension for FXT

    Suspension and Handling
Factory. The sedan springs are lighter in the back end than wagon, so to prevent saggy butt, you need to put in spacers. You do not want to put WRX springs onto Forester struts though. The stroke is way off and it will only kill your struts. The best, cheap way to lower is going to be KYG's on...
