Thank you so much Isabel. This is a great help! After a weekend of car shopping and test driving I know the exact model I want. I have a written offer from Glanzmann but will reach out broadly including to Linda to see who will work with it.

Thank you again for sharing your experience!

(cont'd) I don't have the car yet but I don't have any reason to think it won't go as smoothly for me as it has for the other folks here (and a few on reddit that I messaged). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. (I had a REALLY ugly experience at a Hyundai dealer the week before, real old-school pressure tactics. So this was night and day.) For whatever reason Linda's info isn't on the Moyer Subaru website, so if you do want to get a price from them she's at [email protected]

Hope this helps! [End :) ]

(cont'd) Moyer's gets love on this board and rightly so, they're really painless to deal with... straight forward, answered all questions, gave all fees and totals in writing, no pressure at all. I seriously didn't hear from them until I had questions and emailed them again. Linda Verbeten (internet manager I made the deal with) and Ken Veit (handling delivery) have been awesome and they're totally worth the drive to me. I put my deposit down ($500)on 2/24. I have a signed order form and VON# and it should be here some time in April. Ken emails me every 6-7 days or so to keep me up to date and I also added some options and accessories and we handled that via email as well. I don't plan to set foot in the dealer until the day I pick up. (cont'd)

Hi there! I emailed Steve Moyer Subaru (Leesport), Ciocca (Bethlehem), A&T (Sellersville), Fred Beans (Doylestown), Flemington Subaru (NJ), and Welsh (Limerick), all straight from their websites picking "internet sales" names. Welsh never responded to me. Fred Beans, Flemington, A&T were much higher. I stayed away from Philly because you have a higher sales tax rate! Moyer's gave me the best right price off the bat. I tried to get Faulkner (who I test drove one with) locally to match it, no dice. Wouldn't even come close. Guy kept insisting the deal was likely a scam and that he'd "be there for me" when/if it fell through. Ciocca was willing to beat it by $300 but I just didn't like their vibe or their reviews online. I took their price back to Moyer's since they were straight with me from the beginning - I just asked them if they'd match it and I'd buy from them. Instead they beat it. I immediately said yes and signed the order. (cont'd)
