Awesome build! What size tires? How did you get the 3" lift - was it a custom job, or did you stack spacers? I've only seen 2" and 4" kits.

Thanks!
Lift included 2” front and rear lift kits (spacers, alignment etc.) plus King Springs added the other inch.
Tires are 245/65/17 Continental Terrain Contact A/T with 17 Method Rally wheels and they add another inch over the Forester’s factory wheels/tires setup.

Awesome, I appreciate the info. Do you think I'd be able to run 245/65/17 on my setup, with the 2" front 2.5" rear lift and stock XT springs? No need to worry about wheel spacers, to push the wheels out further - the offset of the Method wheels handles that? Any reason you chose the King over Rallitek? I understand the Rallitek is advertised as "same as OE height" though it's stiffer, so I figure it'd be higher than OE height when the vehicle is loaded down. King is even stiffer?

Be warned though, these tires are Heavy! The extra weight will sap your car of power. My engine is at stage 2 pushing 265whp. At my last tune I was expecting more gains but the extra weight from the new tires just kept me as is. Got my torque up to 309lb but hp stayed the same. I’m not sure how much it would take out of the stock engine.
I have gone from a 1inch lift kit to 2inch and then finally to 3inch, With the springs. At 2.5 in the rear you probably wont rub, unless you’re really pushing it off-road then it may but after 10k the tire tred will wear down. Same thing at 2 inches in the front.
I spoke with a rep for king springs and depending on the weight and lift setup they will add from 1/2in to 1in of lift. Mine added just under 1 inch initially but I’ve added a couple hundred pounds of gear since then so it may be 3/4 inch now.
All I know is at this height it doesn’t really rub anymore.
