Happened more than a few times in the 1st/2nd gen Mazda3s, too. Usually in the heat of summer, where the rays were baking the glass, then they crank up the A/C.

With as hard as I had to pull the fronts out, the rear came out after ~5 pulls. :eek: The hub and ABS ring look nearly new so they go in the parts bin.

How were the pads installed? The wear indicators go on the inside and should NOT affect braking. They should fit firmly in the caliper brackets on the OEM pad clips. I haven't had any clearance...
