How were the pads installed? The wear indicators go on the inside and should NOT affect braking. They should fit firmly in the caliper brackets on the OEM pad clips. I haven't had any clearance...

For me, price mostly. ~$80 for a RockyMounts 9mm Noose tray vs ~$250 for a hitch mount, and more if you don't have a receiver. The cheaper ones seem to all be in 2" receiver size. :/

You can pull the back seat and pump, then drop a siphon tube in there and pump the fluid out. Major issue is there is a hump in the drive shaft, so make sure you pump the other side out as well.

Good call. The '10 Mazda3 with a rear facing seat was tough enough. We had to wedge the seat between both the front seats. The '04 Mazda and '00 Forester were slightly better.
