I'd inspect fuel flow (stalling when the accelerator pressed could show a lack of fuel pressure and thus it stalls, not sure why it would go away...

Unless you are tracking the car, just upgrade the pads for an increase in stopping power. Paying $500+ for a good set of 4/2 pots, then pads, then rotors and installing it all isn't worth the cost...

Installing a BOV alone (on a stock car) however is rather fruitless for performance IMHO.
