heat shield rattle is the worst. on my first subaru I just dealt with it, on my second I removed as many heat shields as I could.

Well now I don't feel as bad about how rusty these mufflers are. I will have to drop the mufflers eventually as I've got a wrx mid pipe with a tiny resonator in it. At that point I'll take pictures...
