Update again...after replacing the rear rotors, the noise is again better and reduced.

I am left to believing it is a bushing that is toast after nearly 300k miles.

You could remove the intercooler to get 2-3 lbs more boost. You don't need it and in such a low boost setting, it's basically a black hole for psi to disappear into.
