Hey Guys,

I dont really know how to 'analyze' a dyno graph, so just wondering if you can tell me what you can make of this...

Model: MY05 Forester XT, Auto Transmission.

Mods:
TD05-Big16G Turbo
Process West TMIC
Process West CAI
Silicon Turbo Inlet
3" Hi-Tech TBE into stock WRX Sti Diff Back
WRX Catless Up-Pipe.
Apexi AVC-R Boost Controller

Tuned to 15 psi or 1.0 bar. Approx 158kw at the wheels.

I think i'm running quite rich at the moment so going to take it in later this year to lean it out.

Cheers
Steve

That's great! Looks like the tune worked out pretty well.

Yes, it worked out perfectly! Took the car to the track today for a 20 minute hyperdrive session with an instructor and got to open it up. It's stupid-fast now... I was pulling away from the BMW 540 behind me in every straightaway. I actually scared myself a couple of times, there is just so much raw power...

Thats awesome, I like that term, stupid fast! LOL

I hope sometime I too can overlay this one with a vf39 chart. But with autox'ing I may just stick with the td04 for the quick spool. However you are about 280tq at 3k rpm. Then your'e peaking at 3250. Thats awesome!

Here's mine:
Cobb Stage 2
Sti Uppipe
TXS Turbo Back
2 turns on the waste gate arm.

I'm hoping with a protune getting the A/F mix set right, I could pull a few more ponies...

Here is mine:
Helix catted DP
WBR catback
STI TMIC
UTEC stg2

My self tune is really bad and I'm starting from scratch again.
I think I know what my problem is (the auto tune fuel map) which is causing the non-smooth curve.

Yeah, I'm pretty psyched about it. Funny thing is, I was actually on the fence about upgrading for the same reason - I wanted to keep the quick spool and torquey feel of the TD04. I couldn't believe the VF39 could be all that and more. But it's a lot harder to accelerate smoothly now because the power comes on like a ton of bricks!

Is that an uncorrected or corrected plot? And if it's corrected, what correction factor was used?

Just had mine done...

STi exhaust manifold/uppipe
STi TMIC
VF39
Cobb catted downpipe
stock midpipe
STi axelback
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Accessport v1

Protuned by Bobby at PRE
280whp, 312wtq @ 17 psi

Nice smooth curves, and like Silke said above, the VF39 is just stupid fast. It is definitely going to take soem time getting use to it. Best part is my car is nearly stock quiet.
