just put on my accessport running a stage 1 93 oct. besides the little burp at the initial start, it's running smooth. idles somewhat low, but i'm sure it'll come back up after a while. pretty impressed with the power. power delivery is a lot smoother and the boost comes on a lot quicker. the only other thing i've done to the engine is a cobb sf intake. by reading the intake air temp (god i love this thing already) it looks like i need to get a heat shield for it. 149 deg F can't be helping the hp any. so far, very impressed with the functionality of the accessport and the initial drive was good. still have to put it through it's paces with some spirited drives to get a better idea of the power gains across the board.

i think i figured out the problem. me. i read it while it was idling in the nashville summer sun. on the road it was around 99-105. just a bit better. haha. sometimes i think that maybe i've been idling out in the nashville summer sun too much. after some more driving i can tell a decent increase in power and am quite pleased. on the downside, now i'm wanting a vf-39, sti intercooler, and cobb downpipe. all of this after i upgrade the suspension and brakes of course. throw in a driver's course and i'll be set! the price i paid for my car must have really just been a down payment for mods

at cruising speed my intake temps seem to be around 12 to 15 degrees higher than the outside temp. sitting in traffic is another story....the heat soak is unbelievable. i have the spt intake and no aftermarket heatshields.

Another Stage 1 newbie!

I just installed the Stage 1 91 Octane map on my 08FXT 4EAT.
Only other mods is K&N panel filter and Sti Axelback, Swifts and Sti RSB

Thoughts: Definately kicks in alot faster. Much more responsive than stock. Wish it came like this stock! In terms of back of the seat insane response...not as much as I thought, but overall improved throttle response and a bit quicker...I think

I'm wondering what Stage 2 would feel like?

Default Updated MTv101 AccessPORT Calibration are Available for the 2007-2008 FXT MT

Updated MTv101 AccessPORT Calibration are Available for the 2007-2008 FXT MT

We have created a thread in our forums so we can directly communicate with AccessPORT users about how the updated MTv101 calibrations are performing on the 2007-2008 Subaru Forester XT (FXT) models. As with all of our calibrations, we will be updating these calibrations based on your feedback. We want to make sure we are doing what we can to make improvements to the driving quality, fuel economy, as well as address any concerns you may have. Feel free to post your impressions of how the calibrations are performing for you in the above thread. Please be sure to include specific information about your vehicle, the calibration you are running, driving conditions, and what fuel you are using.

Hosting this master thread here will better allow us to moderate it so we can make sure we stay to topic. Thank you for your patience. We have put some systems in place that will allow us to more quickly address your concerns about AccessPORT calibrations, these new systems will allow us to update the AccessPORT calibrations with greater frequency.

Thanks,
Christian.

I've had the Stage 1 91 Octane v100 AT on my 08 FXT 4EAT for two weeks already and a CEL has come on twice. I keep getting P0244 - Turbocharger wastegate solenoid 'A' Range/Performance. The first time it came on was when i was engine braking and geared down to 2nd from 3rd and then back to 3rd to accelerate again and the CEL came on. It seems as though the the tranny was slow to react or is it something else? Not sure what happened?

Stage 2 is more raw and aggressive feeling. It is a lot quicker, and very peaky and very fun to drive.

YAY Im not the only one. We should both post on cobb forums, maybe they`ll look at it. I felt the same thing, its like the engines moving to quick for the 4eat to keep up, its like a missed shift. Engine over revs, and hits fuel cut.

Too bad it looks like they wont touch tcus.

Kendo, it's annoy eh?

Yep, I've posted on the Cobb forum already. I'm hoping they come out with a version 2 of the map that MAY correct the problem.

Did some searching around, looks like boost creep and something bout adjusting the wastegate? I thought this only affected the 5spds, but also us 4EATs as well I guess. I agree with you, think it's worse for us because our tranny is extremely slow to react and we have no control over it.

i've already gotten tired of stage one. well not gotten tired of it, just want more. does stage two spool up even quicker? it just seems like it takes a bit for the power to come on with stage one. midrange is great around 3-4k rpm, i just want a little extra ommph with i get on it with the throttle. think a downpipe would help with this (going to stage two of course with that)?

go stage II! much bigger difference than going to stage I. the car is a different animal. but i must warn you, you may be satisfied initially, but it will leave you wanting more because although the torque comes on like a ton of bricks, the top end just isn't there. that's when the vf39 bug attacks!
