Gorilla is charging far too much for such a basic item....
If that is your opinion, then what do you have to say about Rally Armour when they charge double for an inferior product?

Tell that to the guys @ Gorilla. I bought a set and installed them on my 2012 SF. I mentioned to them that SS would be a better choice for mounting hardware for us Northern folk, he said he's never had a request!
By the way, love the flaps, they don't keep the side of the car as clean as I had hoped! IMHO only marginally good when it comes to spray.

Is there an aftermarket fender flare that's not as aggressive looking as a rally style? Not the stock blk ones, have read here that many have trouble with them staying put due to glue adhesion failure.

What were the length of the M5 bolts you used? What was the head: cap screw, button head or hex head or phillips head?

Can you, um, post up pics when you install the rear ones, too? :)

Thanks!

Cheers!!

Let's see if this works. Here's a photo I took of the front flap installed.

Echo63's photos were the ones I was thinking of. They're beautiful! Mine doesn't do them justice.

You do for any mudflaps.

Are these longer than RA's?

I didn't have to, but it looked kind of stupid with them fitted over the stock bits
(these are the rear flaps)

I emailed Gorilla Offroad about if their MudFlaps were bigger than the Rally Armor ones.

Heres their response:

and here is a earlier Forester:

If you'd like to get some specific measurements, I can reach out to a couple of our customers and see if they would be willing to take some measurements if you let me know what year you've got.

Hope that helps.* Talk to you soon.

Here's a pic of the Gorilla flap on the front of my 01. I think they're roughly 36.8cm long.
