I am selling my 1999 Subaru Forester L for $4,800.
I'm selling an excellent condition Subaru Forester L. It was purchased last year from a local dealer and is up to date with all major maintenance. It has a clean title and is currently shy of 130,000 miles. The transmission died earlier this year at roughly 120,000 miles and it cost me almost $2,000 to replace the transmission as well as buy a new clutch and sleeve kit and have it installed by a shop. Timing belt and water pump have all ready been replaced per recommended maintenance schedule a little late at ~ 110,000 miles. Battery was also recently replaced. Oil changed at about every 3,000 miles and never going over 3,200 between oil changes for sure. The audio system has been completely overhauled after putting in over $500 into it. It is now running a double-din JVC deck with Polk Audio speakers all around and an underseat subwoofer. The JVC deck has built in handsfree bluetooth and has a hidden USB port tucked in the glove compartment for your MP3s. I've recently replaced the full sized spare in the rear with a newer tire. Cosmetically, there are minor dings and dents but the paint is good as is all the windshields and windows. The worst part that should be noted is on the rear trunk hatch there are some minor scratches from the previous owner from what I'm assuming is a bike rack. The car is adult owned and has just been freshly detailed. The clear coat is still good! Included is official all-weather Subaru floor mats as well as the original carpet floor mats. NOTEWORTHY: New transmission, clutch, tires are excellent! Overhauled audio system with handsfree bluetooth, Polk Audio speakers all around, MP3 via hidden USB slot and an underseat 8" subwoofer for range and balance! Transmission replacement w/ receipt and all the audio fix was ~ $2500... That's half the asking price of the car. My loss is definitely your gain. Major maintenance has been completed and car is mechanically sounds! Free front bug guard / bug visor. Official Subaru one.. I haven't installed it yet. Also I still have the original factory speakers and deck which I will toss in. Clean title and pink slip in hand. Cash only - I am NOT interested in trades. Local sale is preferred. Please PM or e-mail me your contact information when inquiring about the vehicle - a phone number and your name will suffice. E-mail is much more effective than PM. Please let me know if you have any questions! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
