So I'm doing timing belt / water pump / thermostat replacement this weekend, which requires draining all coolant and removing the radiator.
Removing the top and bottom radiator hoses was easy enough, but to get the radiator removed, I also had to detach two smaller hoses on the driver's side. This was a real pain but I was able to loosen the two 8mm bolts, slide off clamps, and remove the hoses, which leaked out a raspberry colored oil that smelled like transmission / power steering fluid.
Is the transmission fluid cooled by the radiator too? And which hose on the radiator connects to the chassis? I foolishly didn't mark which was which before disconnecting :icon_frown:
