This fall I completed my vf39 swap into my foz and later topped it off with 850cc injectors, 3port BCS, DW305 Fuel pump, etc. and a few maps from Jarrad @ PDX including E85. I am now at the point where the OEM clutch is not going to take much more so I have to upgrade. The issue is we road tuned, so I can only speculate at what kind of power I am making.
Driving the 93oct map - I hit 20psi and taper to 16psi. Clutch holds good except for if you go hard into 4th, it will slip due to the power. When we tuned for E85 the clutch just didn't even try, lol. We had to scale it back to 16psi till I got a new clutch, but I have a high boost tune waiting on the AP for that day.
So with so few companies giving a ballpark figure of what kind of power their clutch will hold, I am turning to you good people to chime in on what kind of power you are making and what clutch you are running. Or maybe you can find better info than I(?)
It seems most manufacturers just say up to xx% over stock and that seems a little vague to me. I am hoping to find an organic clutch that will be up to the task of 20psi on E85 ... maybe even maintain decent pedal feel for traffic.
From my browsing it looks as though:
Feel free to chime in and let me know your thoughts. I know there are others here that have similar set ups, so I might get a ballpark of where I stand and what might be up to the task. My driving style is spirited, but I don't flog her. My last car got me over 100k on the OEM clutch, so I tend to think that I treat them nicely.
Thanks

From my browsing it looks as though:
- Exedy isn't going to cut it unless I step up to stage 4 (Stg1,2&3 claim 50% more clamping).
- ACT may have something for me but I have heard they are hit or miss so I am really trying to NOT use them
- Clutchmasters so far is looking like a good option(?) - claiming up to 70% clamping force on the 200/250's
